However, I noticed in my environment variable list I had "JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS=-agentlib:jvmhook" and "_JAVA_OPTIONS=-Xrunjvmhook -Xbootclasspath/a:C:\PROGRA~2\HP\QUICKT~1\bin\JAVA_S~1\classes;C:\PROGRA~2\HP\QUICKT~1\bin\JAVA_S~1\classes\jasmine.jar" set. I thought Vista did that automatically anyway. Note that I did install the previous version manually (updating from 6.23 to 6.30 I think?), thinking that might resolve the issue, but no luck.
